A long time veteran of stage, television and film, Luz María has performed in over a hundred of some of the best theater productions in Puerto Rico. A founding member of the legendary company Teatro del Sesenta, she has played nearly every type of character with equal success. She has also starred in numerous popular telenovelas such as "Mi querida Sylvia" and "Coralito."

During a break in the filming of “Ladrones y Mentirosos” she mentioned this might be her last film. Hopefully this will not come to be, as Luz María’s performance carries a vitality and truthfulness that truly solidified and anchored each one of her scenes. It was an honor to have her on our team, and we hope we’ll be able to do it again soon.
